Fired After 20 Years As An Employee Because Down: “You Can’t Work Like Others”

Fired after about 20 years of work because Down. Dennis worked at Wendy’s, a location in Caston County, North Carolina. the new employer decided to fire him due to his Down syndrome. “You’re not capable of doing your job like the others,” she reportedly told him to justify the decision.

The dismissal was met with dismay by family members, who now want to understand what happened at the restaurant chain. According to reports from his parents, Dennis would be fired overnight without warning.

“I would love to be her voice to speak out against the injustices she has suffered,” explained Cona Turner, Dennis’ sister. “He doesn’t understand what happened and we can’t explain to him why certain phrases. We didn’t tell him and we don’t intend to.”

The woman shared her grief over what happened to her brother in a lengthy Facebook post. “His dream was to continue working there until retirement – Pussy explained again -. He was looking forward to having a big party. With my family, we thought about organizing that party anyway to make him feel better”.

The post was shared over 12,000 times on social media, quickly going viral. Fortunately, his story reached another American restaurant chain that offered to meet the young worker to offer him a new opportunity.
