Leeds Police found a body wrapped in a blanket on the roof of a house in Leeds. According to the authorities, it would be Gerald Colgan, who passed away last October 2. Harehills Avenue was closed to the public by rescue workers on Sunday after the body was found. West Yorkshire Police are investigating the incident to rebuild momentum.

The body has not yet been formally identified., but according to international newspapers, the police have already contacted the family of the 32-year-old missing person to communicate the news of his death. According to the investigator, the circumstances of the death “are not suspicious”.

The man’s friends and acquaintances, however, explained to police that they were “very concerned about the 32-year-old’s fate” after his disappearance due to some “bad company” he frequented.

Last time he had been seen near Chapeltown and Chapel Allerton. The man was spotted by video surveillance cameras in the area and appeared to be waiting for someone.

Colgan’s brother launched an appeal on Facebook invite all those who saw something to report the facts to the police.

“My brothers and I were very concerned for his well-being – he wrote online – as we hadn’t seen Gerald in days. We ask anyone with information to provide a detailed report to agents investigating the case.”

The 32-year-old’s family had also posted several flyers on the city’s walls. A photo of the young man and the phone numbers of friends and family were printed on the posters. “Those who saw him are asked – they said – to contact the authorities, parents and acquaintances. Any information can be useful”.
