Russia says it wants “quick diplomatic solution” and peace with Ukraine and Europe

Russia is in favor of a quick diplomatic solution of the Ukrainian question, does not want to ‘shatter anyone’ and wants to live peacefully with Ukraine and with the whole of Europe.

Any peace talks, therefore, are likely to focus on NATO’s eastward enlargement and Ukraine’s relinquishment of membership.
