that the shame of fatwhich is the derision of overweight people, is cleared by customs at all levels is now well known.

The most recent example of this is the one involving the Australian youtuber Sydney Watsona woman with hundreds of thousands of followers who openly complained on social media that she was “stuck during the entire flight between two obese people”, going so far as to ask the airline she was traveling with for compensation for the ticket.

“I was literally stuck for three hours. If you need a special seat belt because you’re too fat, you shouldn’t fly,” she scoffed on her Twitter account. “This is absolutely unacceptable. If fat people want to be fat, that’s fine. But it’s something else entirely when I’m stuck between you guys, with my arm draped across my body, for 3 hours,” Watson wrote.

The influencer insisted, “If you’re too fat to be on a plane, buy two seats or don’t fly.” The woman explained that she asked to switch seats with one of the two people sitting next to her, but got a “no” for an answer, then “started screaming inside of me.”

Sydney Watson said she contacted American Airlines after the flight, asking for compensation. The airline officially responded to the controversy on Twitter: “Our passengers are welcome in all shapes and sizes. We’re sorry you made a mistake on your flight.”

An answer that did not please the youtuber, who also had to collect many comments from people who attacked her for the words against the other passengers: “You should be ashamed, have respect”. But Watson claimed his sentences.
