We are on the 247th day of the war and Russia announces that partial mobilization has ended with 80,000 Russian soldiers at the front after being trained. And with the army numbers comes the Russian president’s statement about the new weapons coming to Moscow. Vladimir Putin in a meeting with Moscow Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu – as reported by Interfax – announced “new weapons for ground troops that will be valid in action”. Because for the tsar “the most important tasks are at the moment: equipment, training, cohesion of the mobilized citizens”.
The Russian president again points the finger at Kiev, saying that Zelensky “refuses negotiations with Russia on the orders of the United States”. He then explains that Moscow “does not need to use a nuclear weapon in Ukraine”. According to Ukraine, Russia has lost nearly 70,000 troops since the start of the conflict. Speaking on the phone with Ukrainian President Giorgia Meloni, she expects the renewal of the agreement on the export of wheat from Ukrainian ports, “a fundamental agreement to avoid a possible food crisis”. Zelensky, in turn, that since the beginning of the invasion, Kiev has suffered 4,500 missile attacks by the Russians.
