“On the 15th of November I will make a big announcement in Mar-a-Lago.” Former US President Donald Trump said this at a rally in Ohio, foreshadowing a re-appointment to the White House. In front of the crowd, he showed the results of a political poll of possible Republican candidates for 2024. The report credits him as the winner at 71% to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’ 10%, followed by former Vice President Mike Pence. at 7% and Liz Cheney at 4%.

The midterm elections are Trump’s opportunity to once again provoke his supporters about a possible presidential bid in 2024 after the story that saw him protagonist of a 007 blitz in his private home in Florida.

On that occasion, American intelligence would have taken from the former American leader’s house dozens of boxes containing documents strictly confidential stolen from White House apartments during his presidency. During his speech, by the way, Trump did not avoid the attack on the “corrupt” media and Joe Biden, accused of having “devastated the country”.

“Democrats are either stupid or they hate this country,” Trump said from the stage, thundering against Biden’s “socialist and extreme policies”. “The only thing Democrats do well is misinform and rig elections,” he emphasized, evidently referring to the blitz at his home and the 2020 election result.

For fans who sang the “four more years” chorus, Trump said he would not talk about a reapplication at the time. “I promise you – however, he stated – that in a very short time you will be very happy.” The former leader also attacked Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. “She’s an animal,” he said. “He married me twice for nothing.”
