“Today, the Russians really started to collapse the entire front line towards Kherson and started a mass retreat. Towards Berislav, the occupiers disappeared in several settlements. That is, there are no settlements. now. The Russians leave in mass, but when they do, they blow up the bridges.” This was told by Serhii Khlan, adviser to Kherson’s regional military administration, to Espreso TV. Klan added that the occupiers are strengthening defenses on the left bank to more safely leave the right bank of the Kherson region: “Today they are trying to strengthen some of their positions to contain the armed forces’ offensive and safely withdraw from the right bank of the Dnipro”. To delay the attack by the Ukrainian armed forces, the Russians blew up five bridges in the Kherson region. This was stated by Serhii Khlan, adviser to the regional military administration of Kherson, quoted by UNIAN. “The occupiers blew up not only the Daryiv and Tyagin bridges. They blew up the bridge at the exit from Snigurivka to Kherson on the other side of the canal. They blew up the bridge at Novokairy, they blew up the bridge at Mylovi. That is, the occupiers are now blowing up all the bridges that are on the right bank of the Kherson region,” noted Khlan. “The flags of the Russian Federation are no longer displayed on many buildings in the center of the occupied city of Kherson,” added Khlan, stating that “even today it is very significant that the ‘tricolor rags’ have disappeared again in Kherson, in the buildings of the Maritime College , the Maritime Academy and the Chamber of Unions”, concluded Khlan.
