“I am convinced that now is the time for the destructive Russian war must and can be stopped“To say this, during his video speech at the G20 in Bali, Ukrainian President Zelensky, convinced that there is a “Ukrainian formula for peace” and that there is “a number of solutions that can be implemented to really guarantee it” .

In a post published on his Telegram channel, the Kiev leader listed ten ideas to start discussing an end to hostilities: “After attending the G20 summit, I presented specific and honest proposals. Ukraine is asking the world’s leading states to be co-creators of peace with us”.

In the message, Zelensky then listed Ukraine’s 10 “proposals”:

  1. Radiation and nuclear safety;
  2. Food safety;
  3. Energy security;
  4. Release of all prisoners and deportees;
  5. Implementation of the United Nations Charter and restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity and world order;
  6. Withdrawal of Russian troops and cessation of hostilities;
  7. Return of justice;
  8. Fight against ecocide;
  9. Prevent escalation;
  10. Fix the end of the war.

Zelensky added: “There is no point in offering Ukraine compromises on sovereignty, territory and independence. If Russia says it supposedly wants to end this war, show it with actions. We will not allow Russia to wait, rebuild the war. and so begins a new series of terror and global destabilization. There will be no Minsk-3that Russia will violate immediately after the agreement,” the Kiev leader said, referring to the two previous agreements for Ukraine violated by both sides.

The Ukrainian president then recalled that “thousands of people – military and civilian – are prisoners in Russia. They are subjected to brutal torture: it’s mass abuse… we know by name 11,000 children who were forcibly deported to Russia,” Zelensky said. Also add political prisoners – Ukrainian citizens held in Russia and in the temporarily occupied territory, especially Crimea. We have to free all these people… we have to unite for the only realistic model of prisoner release: ‘all for all’.”
