Missile Poland, Medvedev accuses the West: start world war

It is still unclear where the missiles that hit Poland and sounded the alarm of an escalation in the war in Ukraine that could engulf the West is still unclear. The latest elements suggest it’s not Russian rockets or rockets from Russia, but the story kept tensions very high overnight at the G20 in Bali, Indonesia. Moscow rejects the allegations with Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, blaming the West. What happened in Poland “increases the likelihood of a world war breaking out”, said the former Russian president and loyal to Vladimir Putin. “The story of the Ukrainian ‘missile attack’ on a Polish farm proves only one thing: the West, with its hybrid war with Russia, increases the likelihood that a world war will break out,” Medvedev accused.

Russia’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, called the missiles that landed in Poland an attempt “to provoke a direct military confrontation between NATO and Russia, with all the consequences for the whole world”. He wrote in Telegram, adding that “the facts are important and increasingly indicate Russia’s non-involvement in landing missiles on Polish territory”. “Another fact is the immediate hysteria of the Kiev regime and demands to punish Russia, readily received by the Poles, who have long suffered from Russophobia,” commented Polyansky.

Meanwhile, Volodymyr Zelensky spoke via video link with the Bali summit. The Ukrainian leader believes that the missile that fell in Poland “is nothing more than a message from Russia to the G20 summit”. There is “a terrorist state among you, which we must defend against,” he added.
