Originally from Abruzzo was Mario Ferrari, the Italian chef found dead in New York. There is still little information coming from abroad, but everything indicates that the 31-year-old, who has lived in the Big Apple for years, would have fallen while he was on a fire escape.
originally from orsognain the province of Chieti, Mario Ferrari worked as a chief executive in an important restaurant in the city, the Cipriani Harry’s table🇧🇷 Arriving in New York several years ago, the 31-year-old chef had left Abruzzo to gain experience in some of the best restaurants in Italy before landing in New York, not forgetting a stop in London. A long resume that led him to be hired as a chef at the well-known restaurant in the Cipriani chain.
The news was given by the mother of the 31-year-old, Silvana Tiberii, with a moving letter on Facebook: “Ciao Ma”, so you always wrote to me on your cell phone and I would reply asking how you were, if you were at work… yes, your much-loved work, which you arrived at stubbornly and fighting against everything and everyone, because it was a goal you set yourself. One night, at 3 am, I received a message where you said to me: “Mom, I won the lottery. You know, the most important restaurant chain in New York called me to work”.
Many messages of condolence follow each other in these hours from many who knew Mario. “It so happened that the other day you decided to say goodbye without telling anyone. It happens, it happened, it will happen to everyone, but no one is ever ready, we are unprepared for death – concludes the mother – I will never accept that you are no longer here, I will never give up on what happened. I can only get used to you in my heart, with your smile stamped on my skin and your big eyes to show me the path I should follow…”
