The merry-go-round that starts to move makes the first turns upwards, then accelerates more and more until the open security bars suddenly and the the people on board come thrown in the air falling violently to the ground. It’s the terrifying images that come from a thailand amusement park where four children and a woman were injured after the ride’s safety bars suddenly opened.

The Friday night episode in the resort town of Krabi during the traditional local fair. The scene was recorded on video by others present at the fair who accompanied the carousel ride. Initially everything seems to be going in the right direction, then suddenly, when the carousel called “crazy wave” increases the oscillations, the central group of people who were on board are thrown off.
The people involved are four minors, all aged between 10 and 15, and one in his thirties who allegedly suffered lacerated wounds, but also fractured pelvis and limbs. The first to rescue them were the same people present, as seen in the final part of the video, then they were transported to the hospital and treated as needed.

Local authorities and the police were also at the scene, who immediately began investigations to reconstruct what happened. From the first reliefs, blame must be placed on a carousel employee than during operations before the start of the race he would forget to lock the security bars in the central part of the carousel.
Local government officials and police visited the ride on Saturday morning to inspect the equipment and determined that the permits were in order and the systems were in good working order, corroborating the human error claim. “The owner of the ride accepted his negligence and had to bear all the hospital expenses of the victims”, explained the delegate.
