Hit by the roller coaster train while trying to pick up her dropped phone on the playground floor, a young Australian woman she ended up in a coma, waking up in the last few daysafter two months of total unconsciousness.

The horrific episode dates back to September 25, when 26-year-old Shylah Rodden was hit head-on by the carousel traveling at 70 km per hour while trying to retrieve her phone from under the tracks of the Rebel Coaster during the Royal Melbourne Show.

A very violent impact that left her lifeless on the ground. Rescued and transported to the hospital, she had entered an induced coma with very serious injuries. In fact, the analyzes highlighted serious injuries for the pelvis, arms, legs and back, as well as brain damage.

During these months she remained unconscious to the Royal Melbourne Hospital, where she was kept under observation in intensive care. Wednesday, however, the sudden and happy announcement of his hospital awakening.

Indeed, Australian health officials have announced that the 26-year-old is now awake and conscious and her conditions are now stable, even if they remain serious.

Mrs. Rodden showed the first signs of improvement in October but “she’s not out of the woods yet”, a relative told Australian newspapers.

On the day she was shot, the girl was working at a friend’s booth and decided to go for a walk during her break. According to the investigation, she dropped her phone while riding a roller coaster. As soon as she left the ground, according to investigators, she would have passed under the running tracks at high speed to retrieve the device.
