Sanna Marin looked at him pathetically as Prime Minister Ardern blocked him to teach him a masterful lesson: “First of all, I wonder if anyone ever asked Barack Obama and John Key (former Prime Minister of New Zealand) if they met because they were the same age… We know that we have a much higher proportion of men in politics, it’s reality, but we met because we have many economic ties together and opportunities for growth, our work has nothing to do with the our gender”. A tight smile also for the Finnish Prime Minister, equally lapidary: “We meet because we are both Prime Ministers. We have many things in common and much more to do. One is digital technology and infrastructure.”
