For over a year ahe was trying to get custody of his grandchildren whom he hadn’t seen in some time, but when a judge this week granted him permission to see them, a chilling reality emerged: the 6-year-old boy in the family had already died but no one knew because it had been buried under the floor of the house.
The horrific story of child abuse and degradation comes from the US state of Arkansas, where local authorities last Friday breaking into the apartment to allow grandma to see the little onesmaking the dramatic discovery.
Special officers from the Arkansas State Police Division of Criminal Investigation were called to the scene in the community of Moro around 10:45 pm on Friday at the request of the local sheriff’s office, which did not find the boy at home.
It was the grandmother who initially called the police and demanded to see the little girl, which the mother and partner denied. “Karen came home to pick up her grandchildren on Friday and was told the youngest was at a friend’s house and the oldest couldn’t walk,” said a friend of her grandmother’s.

The little sister, an 8-year-old girl was found in the same house with obvious injuries from burns on various parts of the body, including the scalp, but also with cuts and fractures. She was also visibly malnourished. As a result, she was admitted to a Memphis hospital where she is in stable condition.
