War in Ukraine, Belarus deploys Russian missiles

Belarus deploys Russian-launched missiles in the territory. “Today, the S-400 and Iskander missile systems, given to us by Russia, were deployed in Belarus”. The statement was made by the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, during a press conference after the meeting with the Russian leader, Vladimir Putin. The missiles were supplied by Russia on 21 November.

Meanwhile, Russia and Belarus agreed to continue joint military exercises. This was underlined by Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking at the press conference after the long conversation he had with his Belarusian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko. During the meeting, issues related to the creation of a common defense space between the two countries were discussed, among other matters.
