The sight of all those hand-held puppets and stuffed animals behind the glass was probably overwhelming to her eyes. then a 4 year old girl saw fit to sneak into a fishing puppet machine to get one but she got stuckinside.
The scene, filmed by the parents themselves in a video that circulated on the internet and later went viral, actually generated a lot of hilarity also because the little girl at the end came out unharmed, beyond the scare of the moment.
The episode took place during one of the stops on the family’s long vacation in Airlie Beach, a coastal resort in the Whitsunday region, in Queensland, Australia.
The footage, released by the mother of little Poppy Pearson, shows the little girl trapped inside the car crying while the adults around do everything to free her.
Fortunately, the little one didn’t have to wait long, because she was released soon after by her father even before the attendants intervened with the car keys.
Indeed, on her father’s advice, the girl managed to lie down in the right way to get out of the same hole through which she had entered.
Mom Melanie Pike and her partner Brett Pearson told news.com they couldn’t help but laugh about the situation. According to parents, however, it would have been her older sisters who convinced the girl to enter, two 6 year old twin girls who raised the alarm.
“The little ones were playing outside the club and a minute later my twins came running in saying Poppy was trapped in the vending machine.” In fact, once inside, Poppy couldn’t figure out how to get out.
