He introduced himself to emergency room from the hospital of toulon, at the France, explaining that he has in a straight line one bullet. The man, one 88 years old resident of the French city, was immediately examined and when the doctors realized that the object that the elderly man used to obtain pleasure was actually an artillery shell, they immediately triggered the bomb threat.
A story, sometimes surreal, reported by the local press, which happened in of Sainte Hospital Mousse de Toulon last Saturday morning. The protagonist is an 88-year-old man who, upon entering the emergency room, told the doctors that he had used that bullet, 20 cm long and 5 cm in diameter, as an object of pleasure. But something went wrong and the victim, after placing it in the rectum, was unable to extract it.
The hospital staff, upon realizing that they were facing a possible bomb, then decided to evacuate the site to protect patients and staff, in order to be able to proceed with the operation to remove the object. “We are used to finding unusual objects hidden where the sun doesn’t shine – doctors told Var-Matin, the daily news from southeastern France – an apple, a mango and even a can of shaving cream. But an artillery shell? This never happened before.”
The patient explained that the pump had been deactivated before being used, but for safety reasons the patients were transferred to nearby hospitals. In fact, once extracted, the medical team realized that they were dealing with an artillery shell that was commonly used by the French army during the First World War. The patient was not injured and will remain under observation at the hospital for the next few days.
