The bosses put him on a plane to take him with them to the new country they were moving to, but In the airport someone made a mistake and the family dog found himself on the other side of the world Completely alone.
It’s the nightmare lived by Bluebell, a Labrador specimen five-year-old black man who had to travel for more than 63 hours and take three flights to finally get back to see his owners.
The story is told by the owner of the dog who was moving with her partner from London to Nashville, capital of the state of Tennessee, USA. The departure was already complicated because no company allowed the passage of animals in the hold, except British Airways with which they had to resort to force.
The trip, no longer an easy one for an animal in the hold, became a nightmare when the couple discovered that there was no trace of the animal upon arrival. In fact, nothing had arrived at the warehouse, so it turned out that at the time of loading, the workers had the wrong plane.
As the Washington Post reconstructs, the dog accidentally ended up on the other side of the world from its destination, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A nightmare for the couple who feared they would never see their beloved and faithful friend again.
Once they realized their mistake, Bluebell was put back on a plane, but had to get to London first and then be put on another flight to the US. After 63 hours, three days and three flights later, the dog arrived at its destination.
The arrival, however, was just the beginning of another ordeal for the family, as the accumulated stress had an effect on the dog’s character that you can no longer be alone.
Owners Madison and James Miller began training Bluebells six months earlier with help from kennel experts for the pack journey.
However, the nightmare journey troubled the animal who has since shown many signs of distress, such as gnawing on clothes, sheets and even doors. For this reason, the owners are now asking for compensation for their care.
