Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni met in Erbil with Italian soldiers engaged in the mission in Iraqi Kurdistan. “The sacrifices you make are not easy, you made it by choice, a choice of love that shows you are free people,” said the prime minister. After thanking the soldiers, Meloni received a large tricolor with the soldiers’ signatures and a large framed image of him formed by a mosaic of small photos always portraying the soldiers engaged in the area. The prime minister, thrilled to receive the gifts, took a few selfies with the military. “One at a time, otherwise I don’t know where to look”, words of the prime minister, ‘surrounded’ by soldiers holding smartphones to immortalize the memory. “Thank you for this reception and for making me feel at home”, concluded Meloni.
