“They would never forgive me.” Prince Harry and the spare book: who do I want to save

In his book ‘Spare’, Prince Harry omitted episodes because, he explained in an interview with the Daily Telegraph, the royal family would never forgive him. “The first draft,” said Harry, “was different. It was 800 pages, then it went down to 400. It could have been two books, let’s say. And the hard part was getting things out. There are some things that happened, especially between my brother and I, and to some extent between my father and me, which I don’t want the world to know about, because I don’t think they would ever forgive me.

Prince Harry told the British newspaper he has enough material to write another book, focused mainly on his relationship with his brother Prince William and his father King Charles III, in comments that could further upset the royal family. Harry further emphasized that he knew he would be “thrown into a landfill” for anything he reported about his family, but insisted it was impossible to tell his story without including these incidents.

The Duke of Sussex has privately said he feels “responsible” to do everything possible to reform the monarchy for the sake of Prince George, 9, Princess Charlotte, 7, and Prince Louis, just 4. «I know that of these three children, at least one will end up like me, it will be the second, the youngest. And this hurts, it worries me», Harry’s outburst. “It’s not about trying to overthrow the monarchy, it’s about trying to save them from themselves”, concluded Lady Diana’s son, saying he is aware that he will be “crucified by countless people” for this.
