“We need them to stop Russian terror.” Zelensky’s Scream About Weapons

As Moscow returns to attack Italy from Ukraine, another cry of alarm comes to continue defending itself against Putin: Kiev needs long-range missiles to stop the “Russian terror”. President Volodymyr Zelensky says this clearly in his evening message, where he launches a new call to send arms to Kiev. “Ukraine needs long-range missiles to prevent the occupiers from positioning their missile launchers far from the front line and destroying Ukrainian cities with them,” explained the Ukrainian leader.

Kiev continues to push for new and more powerful weapons ahead of a Russian offensive on the first anniversary of the war. “It’s no secret that they are preparing for a new wave on February 24th, as they say themselves,” commented Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. According to the Kiev ambassador to France, Western countries will deliver more than 300 tanks to Ukraine, and presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak announced that negotiations on transferring fighter jets and long-range missiles to Kiev are ongoing with partners, despite some resistance, and “are advancing at a rapid pace”. Kiev will not be able to count, however, on the support of Brazil. President Lula rejected a request from the German government to supply ammunition for the tanks that will be sent from Berlin, according to Brazilian media, in the desire to maintain neutrality in the conflict and not provoke Russia.
