Couple teaching children about Nazism online, quoting Hitler in their homework

A definitive program to make every student a “great Nazi” and online classes with nearly 2,400 subscribers. It’s a chilling discovery made in Ohio, where a couple has been teaching “Nazism lessons” for two years. According to the anti-fascist group Anonymous Comrades Collective, the “teachers” called themselves Mr. and Mrs. Saxon and opened their own Telegram channel under the name “Dissident Home School” in October 2021. The initiative allegedly started on a neo-Nazi podcast.

For two years, the two of them would spread undisturbed racist, anti-Semitic, and homophobic content, as well as historically inaccurate content filled with quotes from Adolf Hitler or Confederate general Robert E. Lee, American media reported. The group also has grids to print so the kids can learn handwritten quotes from Adolf Hitler. And yet, reading lists with recommendations such as “don’t give them Jewish multimedia content” and suggestions to ensure that homeschooling is “completely lawful” so that the government does not “interfere” are suggested. When the group reached 1,000 members, a photo of the children giving the Nazi salute would be published. The caption reads, “It fills my heart with joy to know that there is such a strong National Socialist base interested in our victory.”

Mr and Mrs Saxon in offline life will be Logan and Katja Lawrence from Upper Sandusky, Ohio. He’s an insurer, he’s a home teacher. The American media tried to contact them without success, the comments and chat functions on the channel were disabled and Katja Lawrence’s Facebook page also disappeared.

The story is at the center of investigations by the Ohio Department of Education, but the case also becomes political with Democrats attacking the homeschooling law for being too vague.
