Canadian arrested for 31 sex crimes in La Paz

The Minister of Public Security of Baja California Sur has announced the arrest and extradition of Blake “N”, a Canadian citizen wanted in his country on 31 counts in connection with sex crimes.

The man is one of Canada’s ten most wanted criminal suspects.

The agency announced via social media that the arrest took place at a restaurant in the El Mezquitito neighborhood of La Paz.

“A fugitive Canadian justice wanted for crimes of sexual abuse and drug trafficking was arrested by elements of the state police and the National Institute of Migration in the Mezquitito neighborhood of that capital.”

Meanwhile, Sûreté Du Quebéc reported that L’Escouade intégrée de lutte contre le proxénétisme – the integrated squad of pimps – (EILP) has confirmed the arrest of Blake Charbonneau, 35, a resident of Laval, who is actively wanted for pimping and various serious crimes sexual crimes.

“Blake Charbonneau was arrested by Mexican authorities and later returned to Canada. Upon arrival in Toronto, he was arrested by members of the Toronto Fugitive Squad in connection with warrants issued across Canada in connection with the case. ELP. Then detectives from the Integrated Brigade of Pimps picked him up for his return to Quebec.”

The specified will respond to charges of sexual assault, assault with a firearm, aggravated assault, obtaining sexual services from a minor, and pimping.

“Thanks to the collaboration between the Integrated Pimping Team, the Canada Border Services Agency and the United States Marshals Service, Blake Charbonneau was located and arrested.”

He also issued a statement recalling that the detainee had been wanted for more than a year, which is why his arrest was linked to the Bolo program to broaden his search with a reward for popular participation.

Local authorities are reporting that the man is still incarcerated in Quebec jail and will face 31 charges contained in 6 investigative folders.

The man remained on the run from justice for a year and the events with which he is associated date from June 2011 to December 2021 in 4 regions of this country.
