War in Ukraine, the threat Sergej Lavrov: Russia will be stronger than before

War in Ukraine, Kremlin leaders do not give up and once again challenge the West. Moscow Foreign Minister Sergej Lavrov assured that Russia will emerge from the current geopolitical situation “stronger and able to defend itself even more effectively”. Interviewed by Rossiya 24 and the RIA Novosti agency, the head of Russian diplomacy stated several times that Moscow “is ready” for peace in Ukraine, underlining however that “if you want peace, you have to be ready to defend yourself”.

“Western deliveries of modern military equipment to Kiev, it seems, will be carried out jointly with foreign combat teams.” This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergej Lavrov in an interview with Rossiya 24 television channel and RIA Novosti. “All types of weapons that have already been partially transferred, and especially those that have been announced, cannot be used by untrained Ukrainians – he added – therefore, probably, combat teams will also arrive with them, made up of people who – apparently – they will be temporarily released from the army and registered as mercenaries,” concluded Lavrov.
