King Charles, the decision about Harry and Meghan leaves you stunned

King Charles has decided to put aside his grudges and has also included the names of his son Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle on the guest list for his official coronation as Queen Elizabeth’s heir. The organizers – reveals The Sun – are already planning their participation: the protocol they are working on is the one that provides for the couple’s presence at the ceremony on May 6th. All this despite fears that they might ruin the historic moment with an awkward family reunion. The royal family, in fact, is still reeling from the revelations contained in Prince Harry’s Spare biography and the Sussex revelations on Netflix, including Harry’s falling out with his brother Prince William.

Officials working on plans for the coronation told the tabloid there had been no suggestion from Buckingham Palace to exclude the couple from the three-day event to crown King Charles III. Invitations for the 90-minute ceremony to be held at Westminster Abbey will be sent out this month, and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will join the 2,000-guest list, according to sources and world leaders.

The special weekend holiday will feature a series of processions and the king will appear twice on the palace balcony. After the ceremony, the new King and Queen Consort will take part in a grand ceremonial procession known as the Coronation Procession. Not being royals, it’s still unclear what role Harry and Meghan will play in these wider celebrations and especially in front of the crowds. Organizers hope the couple will arrive in the UK well before the holiday weekend, so that first meetings between branches of the family do not distract from the historic day. A source familiar with the royal plans added: “It would help if they arrived earlier so as not to create a full circus on the day.” All to find out Sussex’s moves and whether they’ll agree to fly to London or choose another sensational twist.
