Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived at the Palazzo Europa in Brussels to attend the European Council. Before entering the summit room, he posed for a souvenir photo under the lantern along with EU leaders and 27 European leaders. Among these also Giorgia Meloni, who was immortalized in the handshake with Kiev’s number one. However, the Italian Prime Minister did not like France’s actions in relation to Zelensky’s trip to Europe, in search of help to fight the war with Russia: “Frankly, yesterday’s invitation to Zelensky seemed inadequate to me (the Paris, ed) because I believe our strength in this case is community and unity. I understand the issues of internal politics, but there are times when favoring one’s own internal political opinion risks damaging the cause and this seems to me to be one of those cases”.
