Police are looking for a man following a “serious incident” in public toilets in Aberystwyth. Dyfed-Powys has already appealed against the public toilet attack, but now believes there was an “element of voyeurism”.
An E-fit of the man was created in the hope that he could be identified. He is described as a tall, stocky white man with gray hair.
Dyfed Powys Police said in a statement: “Officers have sent E-fit a man they would like to speak with following a serious incident in public toilets in Aberystwyth in November. In November, Dyfed Powys Police issued an appeal in relation to an attack on public toilets between Queens Road and Marine Terrace, Aberystwyth, on Tuesday 8 November 2022.
“However, after verifying the information, we now believe that there is an element of voyeurism in the incident. No one was hurt.
“The suspect is described as a tall, white, stocky man with gray hair. We don’t have a description of his clothing, but he wore black lace-up boots with a striped pointed toe.”
“Are you the man in this photo or do you know who he is? Please let us know.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident or was in close proximity to the incident between 5pm and 5.40pm should contact Dyfed Powys Police. You can contact them online by calling 101 or emailing [email protected] citing DPP/1771/08/11/2022/02/C.
