Trump restored his Twitter account
The Republican regained access to his Twitter profile in November after the platform’s owner, Elon Musk, raised the possibility several times. Since then, however, Trump has not posted anything.
Trump was a big fan of social media when he was in the White House between 2017-2021 to announce official business, comment on television shows, or announce what they’re going to eat that day, among other things.
Following his 2021 ban on major social networks, the former president created his own social network, Truth Social, which launched in October 2021 and has been available on the Apple App Store since February 2022.
It is not available for Android devices and its penetration falls far short of expectations.
Trump signed an exclusivity deal with Truth Social, the validity of which is unknown, but commercial media indicates it could end in March 2023. (Europa Press and EFE)
