A sex toy company is giving away £6,000 of its wares in Cardiff on Saturday 11 February after Wales came bottom of the UK in a “sex map” of UK regions that spend money on ” sexual products”.
Lovehoney will be handing out 150 sex toys on St Mary’s Street from 3.30pm, but there is one thing you need to do to be eligible.
They only deliver products to people who can answer a simple question: “Where is the clitoris?” Those who answer correctly can purchase one of the company’s products, including the Lovehoney Rose, the Arcwave Ghost or the Ignite 20 Mini Masturbator.
The company will pay homage to Welsh musical tradition by displaying a poster honoring Sir Tom Jones that reads: “Baby we can turn you on… Unlock your sex bomb potential.” Everyone who stops by the booth will receive a coupon for 20% off Lovehoney merchandise.
Commenting on the Sex Map, Annabel Knight of Lovehoney said: “The purpose of the Sex Map is to celebrate sexual liberation in our country and encourage people to talk about sexual health products. It’s nice to see so much variety of options in different cities. all over the country.”
Lovehoney was founded in 2012 in Somerset and has grown into a popular online store for sex toys and related products. He’s also no stranger to publicity stunts, having previously launched a “Sex Toy Design” contest.
The stand will be on St Mary’s Street on Saturday 11th February from 3.30pm and will distribute 150 toys.
