The driver of the vehicle that caused the accident and eventually died was identified as Óscar Eduardo De las Salas Cabarcas, aged 32. While another person who was traveling in the same Chevrotel Spark GT car, with KJM 220 plates, as a co-pilot and was injured, responds to the name of Jhony Arturo Rolong Bettin, 30 years old.
About the accident, Malambo Transit officers reported that the occupants of the said vehicle were waiting on the back of a truck parked on the road, heading towards Malambo-Soledad, at around 4:30 am. to change the red light.
