War in Ukraine, Wagner’s boss accuses Russia of treason

High tension within Russian forces fighting in Ukraine. The BBC reports on a statement that could jeopardize the very continuation of the war in Ukraine. In fact, at a time when battling for control of Bakhmut is being fought, the head of the Wagner group makes a very heavy accusation against Russia: the Kremlin is supposedly not sending ammunition to the Wagner group. Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin complains that he is not receiving the necessary ammunition from Moscow as the battle for control of Bakhmut continues. It could be “ordinary bureaucracy or treason”, denounces Prigozhin, as reported by the BBC.

In short, relations between the Wagner group and Moscow seem increasingly strained. The group, which has tens of thousands of troops in Ukraine, has become a key player in Moscow’s war. Prigozhin said that the documents were signed on 22 February and that the ammunition was supposed to be sent to Bakhmut the next day, but he added that most of it was not sent and so he suggested that it could be a deliberate move. If yes, what is happening in the Kremlin?
