“It’s the biggest seizure against micro-commerce”: Pumarejo

The Mayor of Barranquilla Pumarejo, on the morning of this Thursday, March 9, highlighted the massive operation carried out in the Chiquinquirá neighborhood, describing it as the “largest operation by far carried out in Barranquilla and in Colombia against the scourge of micro-commerce ”.

The procedure, carried out at the house at 41 Calle No. 27-105, in the center of Barranquilla, found at least 400 kilograms of cocaine, as well as drug processing supplies. Likewise, 48 firearms were seized.

“There are several things to be emphasized about the operation carried out by the public power, the police and the military Gaula, to tighten up this siege against the bandits, but today we managed through a reward plan to meet show that information can help us achieve great results against crime. As the general (Urquijo) said, this coup means several things: a great confiscation that would reach our children, adolescents, our young people to try to corrupt them and turn them into that first line of vice, and finally even entering the criminal gangs,” said the president of the Barranquilleros.
