Dramatic footage posted on social media shows a massive fire that covered the entire building with smoke. Local residents said they heard a loud popping sound before the fire.
Russian media attributed the fire to the emergency services, saying the building belonged to the regional border patrol branch of the FSB.
The FSB is Russia’s internal security service and is responsible for counterintelligence, border security and counter-terrorism.
