According to what the regional governor Vasily Golubev said on his Telegram channel “it was established that the cause of the fire is a short circuit in the electrical system inside the building. The spread of the fire caused the explosion of containers with fuel and lubricants ”, Golubev said, adding that residents of houses close to the fire site were evacuated for safety reasons. “According to experts, there is no threat of fire spreading to nearby apartment buildings. However, for safety reasons, residents were evacuated. An investigation is ongoing,” the Russian official wrote on Telegram.
