A multi-vehicle accident is causing long delays M4. Three westbound lanes are closed, one-hour delays expected.

The accident occurred between Magor Services Junction 23A and Coldra Junction 24 shortly after 9am on Thursday. The first, second and third of the three lanes are closed, traffic flows slowly along the road.

A statement from Traffic Wales said: “Major congestion west of junction 23A Magor due to a multi-vehicle collision at junction 24 Coldra. Currently, all lanes are blocked and traffic is diverted to the shoulder. Allow extra time if you are driving and be prepared to stop.
