The horrific fate of 37-year-old Paul Stanley Schmidt, who was murdered in the entrance of a Starbucks in Vancouver, Canada, to the helpless eyes of his partner and little daughters. The argument that later led to the murder must have started precisely because of the smoke, as one witness told local media: “It all started because that man smoked next to his little girl. The father just tried to protect her”. The crime was committed around 5:40 p.m. on Sunday, March 26: While Paul was waiting outside the club with the baby in the stroller, his partner had gone inside to get a drink. At one point, the 37-year-old asked the vaping man if he could “please” get away from the little girl. However, in response, he was attacked and stabbed in the stomach. There was no way Paul could react, and within seconds he collapsed to the ground, covered in blood. The man was taken to the hospital, but there was nothing he could do.
A horrific scene captured by some witnesses and posted on the Internet by the Vancouver police investigating the incident, posted on the Internet: “Anyone who witnessed the murder or has video footage, please contact our investigators – Sergeant Steve Addison explained – Video and eyewitness accounts can be key evidence in this case.
