Putin blocks matches: government officials banned from leaving Russia

Russia blocks departures: Mikhail Mishustin, Prime Minister of the Federation, has prohibited government officials from leaving the country without special permission. The news was made public by the “Kyiv Independent” which in turn quoted the Russian media “The Bell”.

According to the Ukrainian newspaper, permits are issued only for official travel, with no restrictions on employees of the presidential administration. This is not a bolt from the blue Putin’s invasion of Ukraine. Already at the beginning of the week, the “Financial Times” had published indiscretions about the seizure of passports of senior officials and executives of state companies to prevent them from fleeing abroad.

Meanwhile, the controversy continues over the publication of US military documents classified as confidential in chat rooms and social networks. Mykhailo Podolyak, loyal to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said the purpose of the leak was “to divert attention, cast mutual doubts and suspicions, sow discord” among the allies. And on Twitter he wrote that Russian secret services were behind the release of the documents, altered ad hoc to create disinformation. But it’s not just because today the Pentagon revealed it had located a new flaw: hundreds of reports dating from February about the war in Ukraine, China, relations between the CIA and Mossad leaders and the sale of artillery from South Korea to Kiev were placed on the network.
