Louisville shooter identified as working at bank

The assailant, who was “neutralized” by officers and also died, was a white man who was identified as Conner Sturgeon.

The shooting occurred around 8:30 a.m. local time (12:30 GMT) at a building in downtown Louisville where one of the headquarters of the Old National Banka regional bank with offices in the Southeastern and Midwestern United States.

Four people died and another nine were injured, three of them in critical condition. The four dead three men and a womanthey were between 40 and 67 years old.

Separately, the death of the attacker is recorded, who died in the bank while exchanging shots with the officers.

“The first fight was to stop the attacker. The second is to do everything possible to keep the wounded alive,” Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, a friend of one of the deceased, told a news conference.
