Leonid García Ufre, aka Chino Leo, 42, was the victim of an attack by a hit man at noon on Thursday, April 13 at 45B Street at 20 Carrera, in the San José neighborhood of Barranquilla.
Witnesses reported that two hitmen, aboard a red motorcycle, fired repeatedly at him as he drove a truck through the aforementioned sector.
The attackers fled down 45B Street toward 14 Carrera, in front of all passersby passing through the area at that rush hour.
Meanwhile, ‘Chino Leo’, wounded in one of his arms, was helped and taken to the Murillo Clinic, a few meters from where the bullet attack took place.
It was also known that García Ufre was arrested in 2019, allegedly for participating in an expedition case.
Authorities are investigating what happened to clarify the causes of this new bullet strike, which left one person injured.
