North Korea launches new missile: here’s the weapon never used so far

A “new type” ballistic missile, solid fuel. North Korea confirmed through the South Korean agency “Yonhap” that it released yesterday. All intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) launched so far by North Korea have been liquid-fuelled. This new missile, on the other hand, marks an important technological and strategic advance in Pyongyang’s military program, being more stable and faster to prepare than liquid-fueled missiles.

The aircraft carrier flew approximately 1,000 kilometers (621 mi) towards the Sea of Japan and landed outside the area solely controlled by the Land of the Rising Sun. However, the launch prompted Japanese authorities to issue an evacuation order for residents of the island of Hokkaido which, according to local media reports, led to the temporary suspension of high-speed rail and road transport in the north of the country. This “new type of ICBM constitutes a rapid advance in nuclear counterattack,” said Kim Jong Un.
