Active patrol of the Atlantic Police is missing

Elkin patrol David Balvin Torres, 34, has been missing from the city of Barranquilla since last Wednesday, April 19, after he went looking for medicine, according to his relatives.

His relatives and friends are concerned about his strange disappearance. In dialogue with Lenys Torres, mother of the police officer, he gave details of what had happened.

“The last time I saw Elkin was on Wednesday, April 19, he told me he had been in the police clinic since 4am with a severe headache. At about 2 p.m., he told me he was going to get the drugs that weren’t approved for him, he took off his uniform, put on a long sweatshirt and colored sweater, both gray, and left. From then on I never heard from him again,” she said.

He also indicated that he was not warned because she called him often and sometimes did not answer because of his activities: “I called him later and he didn’t answer, but I didn’t take it badly because I thought he was sleeping or working,” he concluded .

But Friday, April 21, came and Lenys’ concern increased when the major from the station where Elkin works showed up at his home. “Friday morning, the major of Sabanalarga station came to my house to tell me that my son had not shown up for work, that something had happened to him. At that point I started telling him that I hadn’t spoken to him since Wednesday and that he did it at work.

On the morning of this Tuesday, the woman visited the emergency room of several care centers, such as the Police Clinic, Cari Hospital and the Campbell Clinic, but as of this publication, she has not found her son.
