That afternoon, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador arrived in Ciudad Juárez to monitor the health of migrants who survived the March 28 fire while temporarily staying at the National Institute of Migration (INM).
However, the president received cries of protest from migrants who blocked the passage of the truck in which López Obrador arrived.
“Justice!” and “Go away, go away!” were some of the slogans shouted by the migrants who blocked the president’s truck.
