An injured man is said to have entered a busy pub after a fight. Antisocial behavior is a street hit. Police received reports of an injured man entering The Ivor Davies pub on Cowbridge Road East, Cardiff, on Friday night.

When agents arrived at the scene, they discovered that there was an argument near Boots.

A statement from South Wales Police said the call was received at 11.50pm and witnesses in the area said there was a large police presence. The photos show three police vans and several police officers moving around the site.

After the incident, the man was taken to the hospital.

A police spokeswoman said: “A man in his 30s was taken to hospital after the altercation.”

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information or who witnessed the incident should contact South Wales Police on 101, quoting the incident number. 2300136901.

There is no indication of what triggered the fight, but there were calls to make the street alcohol-free. You can read more about it here. The road is home to a number of independent businesses and for over two years there have been issues with anti-social behavior at the banks next to the Tesco Express, with people drinking and swearing at passers-by.
