Man arrested for throwing cartridges at Buckingham Palace

As reported by the Metropolitan Police, the person was arrested around 7pm (6pm GMT) this Tuesday after approaching the gates of the palace, the official residence of the British monarch, and throw different objects.

The man was arrested for possession of aoffensive weaponsaid the Scotland Yard statement, which assured that the alleged patterns have been recovered to be examined by specialists.

Police cordoned off the location after it was found that the man was in possession of a suspicious bagand proceeded to a controlled explosion of the object as a precautionary measure.

Chief Superintendent of the Metropolitan Police, Joseph McDonald, said: “Officers responded immediately to arrest the man, who He has been taken into police custody.”
