An act of desperation and madness. A man decided to commit suicide by driving his car at full speed into a canal. However, there were also two small children in the vehicle, who unfortunately died with him. The terrible tragedy occurred in Belgium, in the town of Lommel, a Flemish town of 32,000 inhabitants. Last night the man crashed his car into the Bocholt-Herentals canal.
According to the Belgian press agency, the police were called around 12:30 and immediately went to the scene of the accident. From the initial analysis it was quite clear that it was a voluntary act of the father who apparently decided to take his own life and thus kill both of his children. Research is ongoing to better understand the story.
