The New York Times revelation: drones over the Kremlin sent by Ukrainian secret services

Ukrainian security services are allegedly behind the drone attack on the Kremlin in early May, despite President Volodymyr Zelensky’s denial. The New York Times reports this, citing US intelligence officials, who explained that they did not know which special unit carried out the May 3 attack or whether Zelensky or other government officials were aware of it. Some officials believe the president did not know. But the consensus, after a preliminary assessment, is that it was the Ukrainians who sent two drones towards the Kremlin, as Russia claims. That assumption is based on intercepted communications from Russia and Ukraine in which Russian officials blamed Kiev for what they called a surprise attack, raising doubts about the false flag theory. Ukrainian authorities, although not directly aware of the attack, said they believed their country was ultimately responsible for the operation, specifies the New York Times.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the shooting down of 36 Iranian-made Russian drones by Ukraine’s defense, accusing Moscow of “continuing to terrorize Ukraine”. As he wrote on his Telegram profile. “It was a tough night. The enemy used 36 Shahed to continue terrorizing Ukraine. None of them hit the target. I thank our Air Defense Forces for the 100% result».
