A car crashed into the doors of Downing Street outside the British Prime Minister’s residence. The person driving the car was arrested and according to the police, there are currently no injuries. The area around Whitehall, where ministries’ offices are located, was closed to traffic and cordoned off by agents. A video was also released, captured by a passerby with a smartphone, in which the gray car can be seen up to the doors and with the trunk open. The arrest was made by armed agents located at the entrance to the British prime minister’s residence.
It is not yet clear whether this was an intentional move. Police said they were working to establish the causes of the incident, but according to initial rumors, the incident would not be terrorism.
