The Atlantic Police reported in recent hours that a 26-year-old man had been arrested in the municipality of Ponedera, Atlántico.
The alleged perpetrator was identified as Cesar Galindo Rivera and his arrest took place at Calle 8 with Carrera 8 in the Las Américas neighborhood.
Today, the defendant allegedly transported the cattle in a cart pushed by a motorcycle from the village of El Blanco in the municipality of Candelaria, and according to what the victim stated, this cattle was in the yard of one of the houses in that branch.
Galindo Rivera, according to the authorities’ report, presents 12 court notes in the SPOA system for the crimes of: trafficking, manufacturing or possessing narcotics in the years 2017, (two) 2018, 2021 and 2022; manufacturing, trading, carrying or having firearms, accessories, parts or ammunition in the years 2017, 2018, (three) 2019 and theft in the years 2018, 2020.
The captured person was made available to the Attorney General, along with the material evidence for Abigeato’s crime.
