The founder of the mercenary group Wagner, Yevgeny Prigozin, after the Ukrainian drone attack that hit central areas of Moscow, vented on his Telegram channel against the Russian Ministry of Defense. Leader Wagner’s words are very harsh: “What are you doing? Get out of the offices where they put you to defend this country “. Then he adds: ′′ You are the Ministry of Defense, why the hell do you allow these drones to enter Moscow?”.
Prigozin once again sharply criticizes Russian military leaders and the defensive organization, and it is not explained why Moscow’s anti-aircraft protection unit failed to neutralize enemy drones before they could fly over the capital’s skies. The “Putin cook”, as he is nicknamed, spares no heavy criticism of the Russian elite when he declares: “Drones are flying over their houses in Rublykova (neighborhood where the Moscow elite resides, ed). Let the houses burn in flames. But what are ordinary people supposed to do when drones carrying explosives crash into their windows?”
Then the group’s founder, Wagner, angrily denounced that Russia is “decades” behind the Ukrainians in drone defense capabilities, with Moscow “having done absolutely nothing” to catch up. After Minister Shoigu’s earflaps and another message to Putin, Prigozin spared no more harsh social criticisms of Russian leaders regarding the conduct of military operations.
