A young Trentino native of Val di Non died in a car accident in Australia. According to local media reports, 23-year-old Jacopo Martini from Sarnonico. According to preliminary information, the young man was killed when he collided with another car at an intersection near the city of Perth. Luca Calliari, a 24-year-old Romanian teenager who was with him, was also injured: he was hospitalized and operated on.
The martini has been in Australia since last January. He had come to the country for work experience in the agricultural sector and would soon return to Trentino. Martini and Calliari were traveling along Indian Ocean Drive in Lancelin, north of Perth, in a car with two other people hospitalized for their injuries.
